Meetings

Currently, meetings are conducted by Zach Levey or our "second in command," Bill Heiser. The first order of business is usually for each member to present two of their best photographs, in hard copy or through the club's group site on Flickr, to share with club members. The photos are based on a theme, which changes each month and is decided at a club meeting.  Past themes have included clouds, wild animals, spring color, a letter of the alphabet, and portraits, to name only a few.  Monthly themes are posted on the web site as they are decided upon. Some of the theme photos and other member photos are also posted on the web site on a monthly basis under Member Photographs

Other agenda items include discussions on equipment, techniques, and software; presentations on software packages and software techniques; a sharing of local area events that might provide good photography opportunities; and a detailed presentation on post processing of a photograph.

Theme of the Month: June, Reflections

If you don't find the theme of the month conducive to your creativity you can, instead, send three photographs of your choice to Flickr or bring three  photos of any subject of your choice to show off.  See the protocol for Flickr photographs on the General Information page.  These photos are also posted on the club's website.  See the protocol for this on the General Information page, too.

In May the club theme was "Night Shots" and you can see some of the photos on the Member Photographs, Monthly Photo Theme page.
