The meeting location may vary at times, but they are usually held at the Tuolumne County Library (shown above), in the meeting room at the north end of the library. The library is closed on Sunday, but the meeting door is accessible from the outside of the building to the right, or north, of the main door if you are facing the main door. It’s wise to check the agenda posted on this site prior to the meeting, in the event that the meeting location has changed.
Meetings are conducted by Zach Levey. The first order of business is usually for each member to present up to three of their best photographs, in hard copy, or on the club’s group site on Flickr. The photos are based on a theme, which changes each month and is decided at a club meeting. Past themes have included clouds, wild animals, spring color, a letter of the alphabet, and portraits, to name only a few. Monthly themes are posted on the web site as they are decided upon. Some of the theme photos and other member photos are also posted on the web site on a monthly basis on the Monthly Photo Theme and Photographer of the Month pages.
Other agenda items include discussions on equipment, techniques, and software; presentations on software packages and software techniques; sharing of local events that might provide good photography opportunities; and a detailed presentation on the post processing of a photograph.
