The meeting location may vary at times, but they are almost always held at the Tuolumne County Library (shown above), in the meeting room at the north end of the library. The library is closed on Sunday, but the meeting door is accessible from the outside of the building to the right, or north, of the main door if you are facing the main door. It’s wise to check the events calendar posted on this site prior to the meeting, in case the meeting location has changed.
In each meeting, the first order of business is usually for each member to present up to three of their best photographs, in print, or on the club’s website (where you are now). The photos are based on a theme, which changes each month and is decided by the club membership. Past themes have included clouds, wild animals, Spring color, a letter of the alphabet, and portraits, to name only a few. Monthly theme photos, photographer of the month, and other member photos are posted here on the Monthly Photo Theme and Photographer of the Month pages.
Other agenda items include discussions on equipment, techniques, and software; presentations on photo software and techniques; sharing of local events that might provide good photography opportunities; and a detailed presentation on the post processing of a photograph.
To see what events we have planned, please see the events calendar.
